If you were to search for “burglar caught security cameras” online you would find over 60,000 results with pages and pages of stories of burglars caught by security cameras. There are some pretty smart and impressive criminals out there and there are some that don’t seem to have any common sense at all, but most importantly you’ll find that cameras not only help prevent future break ins, but cameras help catch criminals. “The two suspects did not get away with anything from Moffatt’s home, but they were caught on camera twice trying to break into the house.
After the alarm went off and scared the burglars away Monday, they tried again Tuesday.
Moffatt said he is upset, but glad he had his security camera running at the time.
“A little frightening that someone could get in and out of the house that fast,” Moffatt said.
Moffatt said he can check on his home online using the cameras.”
